I don't know where this idea came from, but I like the marriage of geisha and fetish.  That's a nose-piercing in her nostril. I thought this piece was very sexy, yet demure.  She's one of my only paintings where the subject is looking away.  I love her Rubenesque body.  I hope you do too!
